Outfitted with redesigned “speed pocket” soles (à la RocketBladez) to deliver extraordinary distance, performance and forgiveness – the new TaylorMade SpeedBlade Irons are said to create faster ball speed, higher launch trajectory and better feel than previous models. The three exact qualities all mid to high handicap golfers relentlessly strive to achieve. Categorized as game-improvement irons by design, the TaylorMade SpeedBlade Irons utilize cavity back construction in unison with the same speed pocket technology that TaylorMade engineers initially developed for the RocketBallz line of fairway woods and hybrids. Not only have these irons been revamped with a new name and speed pocket design… they also look strikingly handsome in gray and blue to boot!

This new speed pocket technology acts like a springboard which allows the face of the iron to flex at impact, and much like a trampoline, generate additional distance that traditional irons are incapable of.
