As with a handful of other National Day’s celebrated, it is still uncertain where National Tequila Day started. Was it just a silent push from tequila companies? Maybe, but nobody’s complaining. This history rich beverage was given it’s name from the town of Tequila, Mexico in the area known today as the state of Jalisco.
