Featuring an iPhone 5s inspired finger print scanner, the newly super-sized HTC One Max is headed for Sprint and Verizon Wireless just in time for the holiday season with a pocket stretching 5.9″ HD display, two front firing “Boom Sound” speakers and the mildly powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor (com’on HTC where’s that 800 at?). Beyond its dashing good looks and undeniably smart speaker setup, the HTC One Max is also equipped with a slew of snappy interface features that are better seen in-action than described by moi. For that, we direct you to the embedded video below where you can get an up-close and personal look at everything the new HTC One Max has to offer.

At first glance, the HTC One Max doesn’t appear to be much more than its little brother; the HCT One on steroids. Bigger doesn’t always equate to better in my humble opinoin, but if you’re listening to the hype surrounding this new launch the Galaxy S4 better watch out!

HTC One MaxThe addition of the HTC One max means that we now have an HTC One phone for everyone. The family has been built on quality and game-changing innovations and the HTC One max is certainly no exception, the upgrade to HTC Sense 5.5 will provide our most amazing mobile experience yet, with the HTC One max delivering the size and power required to do everything you want, and more, without compromise. -Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation

Without actually having spent some real hands-on time with this new device the verdict still isn’t out for us, but we will say, from the press images we’ve had a chance to look at, the HTC One Max by all means appears to be extremely handsome and functional. Though the actual manipulation of its almost 6.5″ x 3.25″ body and 5.9″ screen is probably at best a two-handed operation.
