This is one seriously warm winter jacket. It’s like a wearable sub-zero down sleeping bag. When we first unzipped it to take a look at the interior, the first thing we noticed was the Omni-Heat™ reflective lining since it reminded us a bit of those silver reflective emergency blankets you get in a first aid kit. When you put on the jacket this lining starts its job immediately and starts warming you up like a cozy baked potato. For being a thick, down jacket it has an active fit design so you don’t feel like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man wearing it. The fluffy faux fur hood is the cherry on top.

Believe it or not, but it’s REALLY hard to find a decent pair of ski pants in Women’s sizes that fit. Like really hard. Take it for someone who has had to resort to wearing a pair of men’s pants for the last two seasons. I danced around the house when I tried on the Bugaboo Omni-Heat Pant because not only did they fit, they also looked good. They are great balance of being warm, waterproof and flexible. Ladies – the search is over!

Speaking of ski pants, what do you plan on wearing underneath them this winter? Jeans and cotton sweatpants are too stuffy and bulky to make the cut. Check out the Adera Brooklyn Bay Legging Pant. They are super comfortable, flexible, and breathable so they are paired well with any snow pant. They have a wide waistband that keeps them from moving around while you’re active so you don’t have to constantly pull up your britches. Also they are cute and completely acceptable to wear outside of snow pants while lounging back at the cottage or while on a winter’s day run.

It’s all about the layers when it comes to dressing properly for winter. Hoodies are a winter staple but the traditional cotton version is not ideal for being active in the cooler months. The Castella Peak Striped Hoodie is a welcome addition since it is made out of breathable material that will keep you warm without drenching you in sweat. It’s great to wear under your winter jacket or in between runs in the lodge.

We LOVE the Loveland Omni-Heat Boot. They are a super warm boot without being heavy or bulky. The Loveland is built to kick winter in the face since it is waterproof, light, toasty, and stylish. On top of that, the Omni-Grip™ soles will grab onto the mud, slush, snow, and everything in between so you can be active without worrying about slipping and falling every step. With these boots you can run to the store, hike through the woods, pull on some snowshoes, or wear them during downtimes at the ski resort. We also like that they come in more different color schemes besides just black or brown.
