Helly Hansen has announced its return of Open Mountain Month – an initiative with the goal to inspire and enable people to get outdoors. This January 2024, Open Mountain Month will continue its celebration of seasoned outdoor-goers and novices alike, aiming to encourage all people to experience the power of spending time in nature during the winter months.

Building on the triumph of the inaugural Open Mountain Month in June 2023, which saw enthusiastic participation in global events such as guided hikes with mountain rescue professionals, on-mountain cooking demos and more, Helly Hansen will further elevate the experience in the upcoming January series of events and online content.
“After such a successful kickoff, we felt compelled to bring the excitement, awareness, and celebration to our winter season,” said Joumana Løvstad, Chief Marketing Officer at Helly Hansen. “Safety can look different in different seasons. By continuing to build connection and trust between our audiences and our professionals, we hope to provide a platform for inspiration, education, and community building. Open Mountain Month’s message remains that the outdoors is for everyone to enjoy and we look forward to its continued success.”
