COMFORT:
(8 out of 10) The Deuces TriClimate jacket is a little stiff right out of the package but that’s because it’s equipped with HyVent waterproof technology to ensure you stay dry and comfortable in the wettest, heaviest of snow. You’ll almost forget the stiffness as soon as you slip it on for the first time. Sure you get a bit the raincoat-crunchy sound but that means the HyVent is working. The Deuces TriClimate removable interior jacket is beyond soft and helps balance the stiffness of the outer layer. After a couple hours on the slopes, the stiffness disappears and all you notice is how warm and dry you are – even after biffing it a dozen times trying to impress your friends.
For warmer days, you can choose to wear the Deuces TriClimate inner layer or the outer layer alone. We honestly could sleep like a baby in the removable inner layer. Okay we did sleep in it. It was a long day of boarding and it was SO warm and SO soft.
The only thing that we could do without when it comes to comfort is the elastic cuffs on the outer layer. The elastic combined with the placement of stitching and waterproof fabric can become an annoyance to your wrists.
