Camacho Barrel Aged Review Breakdown

Construction:

Born from the rich and robust Corojo tobacco that was smuggled out of Cuba decades ago, the Camacho brand blends traditional attention to detail and bold creativity together to create an amazing smoking experience.

quote“American Barrel-Aged is something we have been working on for some time and we are very excited to finally share it with aficionados now in the US and across global markets in the near future… Each batch takes a full five months to complete and requires constant attention to ensure the proper journey for this special tobacco,” -Dylan Austin, Director of Marketing for Davidoff of Geneva USA.

Draw:

The expert construction of the Camacho makes for an easy, relaxing draw. The cool air that runs through the American tobacco, allows for the layered flavors of the tobacco to shine through without an over-shadowing heat taking over the draw. Camacho is known for their brash flavors that feature the rich Corojo tobacco and the only way to let the tobacco flavors reach their full potential, is through their relaxed draw. The air coaxes a full flavor profile that is given the chance to evolve through the smoking experience.

Burn:

The light draw and masterful constriction combine to give the Barrel Aged Camacho a consistent and even burn. The Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper provides the perfect vehicle to let the Corojo develop as the burn progresses. With little to no re-lighting or burn correction, the Camacho Barrel Aged has a top-tier construction that matches its elaborate flavor depth.

The cigar features bourbon barrel-aged Corojo tobacco, which ages inside the barrel for 5 months. The remainder of the blend is constructed almost entirely of American grown tobacco including a broadleaf wrapper, binder and filler, along with a maduro filler tobacco from Pennsylvania.
