Selecting the ideal golf ball for your game can be a daunting task, especially when you consider that you’re faced with 30+ models to choose from, at the expense of $30 to $60 (USD) per dozen in most cases. We feel your pain! That’s why we’ve joined forces with 7 of the top golf ball manufactures in the world this season to officially rank and showcase the 13 Best Golf Balls of 2013.

Testing & Review Method: Our testing began with 11 passionate golfers with handicaps varying from scratch to +17 (with the vast majority falling between +3 and +8) every golfer was given a chance to hit each individual model in several conditions, including off the tee, from the fairway, out of the sand and on the green. At the completion of every testing session each golfer was asked to assign a ranking (from 1 to 10) to the golf ball on each of the following criteria: feel, distance, consistency, spin and roll. At the conclusion of testing we compiled the results and crunched the numbers to come up with an easy to understand comprehensive study. Use the slideshow below to begin. Enjoy!

*All golf balls used for testing in this article were furnished by the manufacturers themselves at no cost to BusteWallet.com. We share this information with you (our loyal readers) so that you understand that no bias has been placed on one brand over another. We pride ourselves on honest and thoughtful testing and reviewing methods that are fair and transparent. We hope our article reads this way! -B.W. Staff
